Class System
At Shinonome Gakkan, classes are divided into four levels—S, A, B, and C—based on students' academic ability and target universities. Classes are separated by grade level. Each class is small, with about 10 students. The number of lessons and the days they are held vary by class. Class assignments are adjusted based on mock exams, test results, and classroom comprehension. S Class: The top tier. For students aiming for prestigious national/public universities, medical schools, or top-tier private universities. The pace is fast, focusing on advanced problems and past entrance exams. A Class: For students aiming for mid-tier to semi-prestigious universities. Focuses on mastering the standard academic skills required for university entrance exams. Covers both standard and applied problems. B Class: For students starting their exam prep from the basics. Reviews school content while building the foundational skills needed for university entrance. C Class: Prioritizes solidifying basic academic skills. Reviews middle school content if necessary. Emphasis is also placed on establishing study habits.
