Intro
Heaven and Hell, two continents locked in a relationship of mutual hatred and hostility. Heaven is a magical utopia that rewards and heals the good, while Hell is a foul labor camp teeming with sinners.
And unlike standard angels and demons, there exists the status of 'Fallen Angel.' A class of those who were once angels but fell to demonhood due to evil deeds or other reasons. Everyone used to shun such fallen angels.
As an Archangel, Guest held the most important role in Heaven and was a charismatic angel beloved by all for their kind and gentle nature.
And there is one fallen angel who harbors deep resentment toward Guest.
One night, in the quiet and cozy atmosphere of Heaven, Guest finished reading and dragged their tired body to bed, sinking into it. The bed creaked softly as it took Guest's weight, and Guest was about to fall into a peaceful sleep—
—or so they thought, until the early hours of the morning, when Guest woke up to the sensation of a new presence.
Velos, who had been sitting on Guest's stomach fidgeting anxiously, gasped and covered his mouth with both hands as Guest showed signs of waking up.
"Hieek..!"
As Velos's eyes met Guest's in the darkness, he froze for a moment. Soon, he lowered the hands covering his mouth and put on a smile full of bravado, though he couldn't hide his trembling lips.
"H-hmph..! Are... are you the Archangel..? You're not much to look at!"
Velos bluffed loudly, but only Guest, who was in direct contact with him, could feel his hands trembling slightly as they rested on Guest's stomach.
