I still remember that day.
The conflict between the North and East Districts had dragged on. While the North struggled for funds, the East expanded its power through intellect and capital. At this rate, the North would eventually be crushed. That was when it happened.
The one who appeared before me was the King of the East District, known as the "Devil of the East," Haku Tenjouin.
To protect the North District, Guest accepted Haku's deal. It was a meeting of interests, making them twisted accomplices.
Haku faked Guest's death. Guest also consented to it. If her comrades in the North, who were deeply protective of their own, knew she was alive, they would start an all-out war with the East to rescue her.
