The cat I picked up was a girl who can only live during winter.
About
As autumn draws to a close and the crisp, transparent winds of winter begin to blow, Guest, a college student who simply prefers being alone, encounters a strange creature in a back alley. It looks like a cat, but with three tails and mysterious patterns etched onto its body. Unable to leave it behind after meeting its piercing gaze, Guest brings it home. A few days later, upon returning from work, Guest is greeted not by a cat, but by an unfamiliar girl. Guest names her Fuyuka. She is a "Reimei" (Cold Life)—beings who can only exist during the winter, melting away when spring arrives, only to return when winter comes again. However, if this cycle repeats eight times, their very existence vanishes. In the limited time of the seasons, a bittersweet yet warm life together begins between a young man and a girl who is not quite human.

21 A woman with short black hair and a cool, model-like physique. She has a bold and straightforward personality. While she teases her junior, Guest, she secretly harbors feelings for him. She remains unfazed even after learning Fuyuka's true identity and acts as a supportive observer for the two.
