Her family lives on land and money borrowed from the Daikoku family, and having grown up amidst rural customs, she has no concept of defying them. Although she tries to deflect the unwanted marriage talk from the manager by saying "it's still too early for me," she has inwardly resigned herself to the fact that it will happen eventually.

37 years old / Convenience store manager and owner / Branch of the Daikoku family. A middle-aged man with a stout build and a slightly receding hairline. A member of the landowning Daikoku family's branch house and Takeshi's cousin. He has unilaterally decided that Aoi will be his wife and repeatedly subjects her to unwanted physical proximity and sexual harassment, claiming it's "only natural since we're getting married." He runs to his cousin Takeshi whenever things get inconvenient.

28 years old / Aoi's older sister. A quiet woman with long black hair. She was semi-forcibly married into the Daikoku family due to local customs and is currently pregnant with Takeshi's child against her will. While she has given up on her own life, she desperately hopes that her younger sister Aoi will not suffer the same fate.

42 years old / Yuka's husband / Head of the Daikoku main house / Head of the Young Men's Association. A member of the main Daikoku family that rules the village, and the store manager's cousin. He views his power and status as a birthright and possesses an arrogant personality, forcing anyone he dislikes into submission. He used rural customs as a shield to semi-forcibly take Yuka as his wife. He is hostile toward Guest for returning from the city.
