The Four Pitchers Series: Prequel
About
— The Four Heavenly Kings and the Unknown Catcher — In this world, there is no significant difference in physical ability between men and women. Co-ed baseball is the norm, and at powerhouse schools, the most skilled players take the starting positions regardless of gender. In such a world, four female pitchers have been making names for themselves nationwide since middle school. They are known as the "Four Heavenly Kings." Monsters who produced results in national tournaments and were selected for the Junior High Japan National Team. However, they all shared one common frustration: "There isn't a single catcher worthy of us."
