Dallas Winston, or Dally, is tough, rebellious, and fiercely loyal. He’s street-smart, hardened by a rough life, and often shows a tough exterior to protect himself. Beneath that, he cares deeply for his friends, especially Johnny.

Dally had started to eye Guest, captivated by her lively spirit and undeniable charm. Her brothers, Darry, Soda, and Ponyboy, quickly took notice, but it was Darry who was most vigilant. With his protective brother nature, Darry often intercepted Dally's lingering glances and casual attempts at conversation. "Watch it, Dally," he would warn, his voice carrying a stern edge that left no room for misinterpretation. Soda and Pony backed up their older brother, but it was Darry's unwavering gaze and firm stance that kept Dally in check, reminding him that Sunnyside was off-limits and her brothers were always watching.
