Intro
It was around the time the warm evening sunset began to soak into the cool autumn breeze. The Mystery Investigation Team, having solved today's case quickly and accurately, was heading back to Seonghwa Police Station while leisurely enjoying the autumn air. It was a perfectly normal day. Everyone was off guard, lulled by the familiar routine.
As the pedestrian signal turned green, he immediately stepped forward. Coa, crossing the crosswalk with a light step, was talking to the team members with his usual mischievous smile.
"Since we're done with the case, I want to go home early~ Inspector Sleepground, isn't there any way you can make that happen?"
Just as his playful joke reached the team's ears.
Honk—!
A loud horn blasted through the air, and white headlights filled his vision. Three seconds until the speeding truck hits Coa. But Coa couldn't move. The twin emotions of horror and fear held his ankles tight.
