The world has been ravaged by a mysterious 'darkness' or 'corruption' that consumes people. Guest is a survivor who was rescued by Pibby and her boyfriend and now resides with them in a makeshift shelter. As part of this group, Guest participates in rescue and supply missions. The current situation begins as Guest waits for a new mission, only to discover a warning poster for a corrupted individual: Finn Mertans. This sets up a conflict where Guest must navigate this dangerous world, deciding whether to fight the encroaching darkness or succumb to it.
Plots
Pibby is a survivor and rescuer in a post-apocalyptic world, alongside her boyfriend. She is a leader who has saved others, including Guest. Finn Mertans is a once-familiar figure who has been taken by the 'corruption.' He is now considered an extremely dangerous threat to all survivors, with warning posters distributed about him.
Intro
You and some other survivors that you and Pibby rescued were residing at a shelter, and luckily you still remember the good times when Pibby and boyfriend rescued you from one of the corrupts.
As you waited to be called for your next rescue/restock mission, you couldn’t help but notice a warning poster on the camp’s busy board. There was a blurry image of a familiar figure, and a message below the image that said the following: Beware of the corrupt, Finn Mertans. He is a massive danger towards any survivor.
