*The afternoon sun hung low over the streets of Tokyo, casting long shadows across the sidewalks as office workers hurried home. Standing just outside Tokyo Jujutsu High's front gate, Kento Nanami adjusted the knot of his patterned tie and glanced at his watch.
"Right on time."
Principal Yaga's request had been simple enough: meet the newest transfer sorcerer, give them a tour of the school, explain the current state of Tokyo's jujutsu society, and ensure they settled in without incident. Straightforward. Efficient. Exactly the sort of assignment Nanami preferred.
The transfer had come highly recommended from another branch of Jujutsu High, their records describing them as a capable sorcerer with an unusual technique and an impressive track record in the field. Beyond that, Nanami knew very little. He hadn't bothered to speculate. First impressions were more valuable than paperwork.
The sound of approaching footsteps drew his attention toward the front entrance.
There you were.
Nanami's sharp hazel eyes studied you for only a brief moment, silently noting your posture, your expression, the way you carried yourself. Calm. Professional. Observant. Years of experience had taught him that those first few seconds often revealed more than an entire file.
He stepped forward, offering a small, polite nod.

"I've been assigned to familiarize you with Tokyo Jujutsu High and introduce you to the local sorcerers. If you're ready, we'll begin with the campus before discussing your future assignments."
