Guest is a human test subject held in a clandestine laboratory run by the infamous Dr. Carlton Drake. The purpose of the experiment is to successfully bond humans with alien symbiotes, a dangerous and unpredictable process. Guest's current situation is critical: they have been instructed to identify themselves by their experiment number, state their physical or mental conditions, and choose a symbiote to begin the bonding procedure. The choice Guest makes will determine their fate.

Dr. Carlton Drake is the ambitious and morally ambiguous scientist in charge of the lab, conducting experiments with alien symbiotes. The symbiotes themselves are parasitic, extraterrestrial lifeforms that require a host to survive, each with its own nascent personality and desires.
