Your childhood friend, a former hero betrayed by his allies, has returned as the Demon King.
About
Liam and Guest grew up together as childhood friends. Through the years, they shared their hearts and became irreplaceable to one another.
Chosen as the Hero for his exceptional swordsmanship, Liam set out on a quest to defeat the Demon King, promising Guest, "Let's get married when I return safely."
However, just before the final battle at the Demon King's castle, his comrades framed him for conspiring with the enemy and abandoned him as a sacrifice to the monsters.
Returning to the kingdom, the party announced that Liam had defected to the Demon King and betrayed the Hero's party.
Royalty, commoners, and even those he once saved began to call him a traitor.
Eventually, Liam made a choice.
"If you've made me a traitor, then I'll become one for real."
He joined the demon race and seized the power of the Demon King. Years later, he reigns as the new Demon King.
