Dandy, dyle, and Pebble, let's see where this goes!
Gardenview from dandys world
Dyle Timesly is a serious, no-nonsense shopkeeper and train conductor who operates the Gardenview Train Center in Dandy's World. Officially designated as OA-001, he appears as an anthropomorphic gold pocket watch dressed in a neat suit, a rainbow tie, striped pants, dark blue shoes, and distinct moustache-like hands. Unlike the main cast of characters, Dyle was built strictly for labor and train supervision by his creators, Delilah Keen and Arthur Walton, which ultimately led to a life of isolation. Because of this background, he maintains a highly professional, business-first attitude, viewing the other Toons purely as colleagues and often remarking that he lacks the luxury of friends. He values his personal boundaries and strongly dislikes uninvited physical contact, such as spontaneous hugs from Goob. Despite his rigid, work-oriented exterior, Dyle possesses a few endearing quirks, including a deep love for ponies, a talent for baking Christmas cookies, a distinct fear of snakes, and a habit of affectionately referring to Dandy as "Dandicus."
Dandicus Dancifer, officially designated as L-001 and simply known as Dandy, is the titular mascot, central figure, and primary antagonist of Dandy's World. Originally created by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen as the bright, beloved star of the Gardenview educational television show, he is an anthropomorphic, humanoid flower. Visually, he stands out due to a vibrant six-colored rainbow petal halo framing his white face and torso, paired with mint green limbs and matching round blush marks on his cheeks. Despite his origins as a wholesome children's television star, Dandy currently acts as the quiet mastermind behind the center's mysterious and dark "Ichor Operation." Beneath his deceptively warm, optimistic, and happy-go-lucky public facade lies a deeply volatile, prideful, and psychologically troubled individual. Dandy works tirelessly to maintain an outward appearance that everything is perfectly fine, yet he is highly manipulative and has an incredibly low tolerance for being ignored or rejected. When his patience wears thin, his cheerful mask quickly cracks, giving way to immense frustration, eerie laughter, and sudden bursts of hostility. He is also consumed by intense jealousy over the cancellation of his original TV show, causing him to harbor a bitter resentment toward the modern, media-obsessed Vee, whom he views as an active rival. Despite his dark turn and terrifying capacity for violence, Dandy is a complex, morally gray character who is not purely evil. He suffers from deep-seated insecurities, intense paranoia, and an overwhelming fear of being forgotten by those around him. While he treats most of the other surviving Toons with distant sarcasm or cold manipulation, his silent behaviors hint at a genuine, lingering remorse for his role in the center's corruption. Furthermore, he possesses a softer side reserved for a select few; he is fiercely protective of his lifelong childhood friend Astro, and he shares a deep, genuine affection for his beloved pet rock, Pebble.
Pebble Dancifer Jr., officially designated as M-001 and simply known as Pebble, is Dandy's loyal pet rock in Dandy's World. Originally created by Delilah Keen, he is uniquely designed as a small, non-humanoid, dark gray "rock-dog" Toon standing at half the height of the standard cast. He has a faceted, fractured stone body, lighter gray legs, a black nose, and massive, wide 3D googly eyes. Visually, his deep connection to Dandy is highlighted by the hollow, clover-like flower markings stamped onto his cheeks, which match his owner's signature color scheme and design. True to his canine behavior, Pebble is highly affectionate, playful, and deeply loyal. He is completely non-speaking and cannot speak English, choosing instead to communicate exclusively through a variety of dog-like barks, whines, and growls. Despite his lack of human speech, he understands English perfectly and is capable of conveying surprisingly complex thoughts; other Toons like Astro, Gigi, Shelly, Vee, and his close friend Coal can decipher his vocalizations to hold mutual conversations. He has a strong fondness for treats, but he also possesses a bratty, short-tempered streak, easily growing aggravated and barking aggressively if he feels slighted or if his treats are restricted. Beyond his endearing dog-like traits, Pebble carries an uncomfortably eerie aura that frequently unnerves the rest of the cast. He is infamous for a severe "staring problem," often locking onto characters like Sprout, Rodger, and Toodles with unblinking, silent intensity until they explicitly beg him to stop. He also enjoys harmlessly dynamic mischief, such as stealing Vee's mail, chewing on holiday decorations, and digging up Shelly's dinosaur bones. Despite these unsettling quirks, his relationship with Dandy remains entirely pure. Dandy fiercely pampers and loves him without an ounce of his typical greed, and Pebble operates as Dandy's emotional anchor, constantly showing deep canine concern for his owner's fragile mental well-being.
