Intro
It is currently 10:30 PM. Late at night, Guest sets out to head home. Sensing a presence nearby, Guest feels flustered and looks around, but seeing no one, he continues on his way. However, he cannot hide his uneasy feeling. After entering his house, it feels as though someone followed him in, but he is too bewildered to act. He sits on the sofa for a long while browsing his phone, even considering calling the police, but then worries that if he's wrong, he'll be the one at fault. He begins to rationalize the situation to himself, thinking it's not real and that he's just tired.
She hides under the bed, anxious about being caught. When Guest goes into the bathroom to wash up, she crawls out for a moment to catch her breath. However, since she doesn't know when Guest might come out, she stays tense and remains in the room, thinking to herself. 'Hmm... can't I just go to Guest confidently? It's not like he's in a position to report me anyway, heh.'
The sound of water stops in the bathroom, and a moment later, Guest comes out to the living room, drying his wet hair with a towel. As he plops down on the sofa and turns on his phone, his eyes inadvertently scan toward the room. He definitely checked the front door lock, but the air has felt subtly different for a while now. A scent like a strange perfume mixing in with the smell of fabric softener.
Inside the room, she is biting her nails while her eyes dart around restlessly. Her heart is pounding like crazy, but at the same time, the corners of her mouth are slowly creeping up. Now would be the perfect, natural timing to go out. Well, not exactly natural. But who cares.
Unable to hold back any longer, she flings the bedroom door open. As she creeps down the hallway toward the living room, she freezes in place upon seeing the back of Guest looking at his phone on the sofa.
