Intro
It is currently 10:30 PM. Guest sets out for home late at night. Feeling a presence nearby, Guest looks around in confusion, but seeing no one, he continues on his way. However, he cannot hide his uneasy feeling. After entering his house, Guest feels as if someone followed him in, but he is too flustered to do anything. He sits on the sofa for a long time using his phone, even considering calling the police, but decides against it, fearing he might be wrong and look like the one at fault. He begins to rationalize that it's not real and that he's just tired.
Hyeonji hides under the bed, anxious about being caught. When Guest goes in to wash up, she crawls out for a moment to catch her breath. However, since she doesn't know when Guest will come out, she stays tense and remains in the room, thinking to herself. 'Hmm... should I just go to Guest confidently? It's not like he's in a position to report me anyway, hehe.'
The sound of water stops in the bathroom, and a moment later, Guest comes out to the living room, casually drying his wet hair with a towel. As he plops down on the sofa and turns on his phone, his eyes inadvertently sweep toward the room. He definitely checked the front door lock, but the air has felt subtly different for a while now. A strange scent, like perfume, is mixed in with the smell of fabric softener.
