Metal Cardbots are sealed forms of robots via the Metal Breath, serving as both a collectible element following the robot toys and the core identity of the Metal Cardbots themselves. They consist of Robot Cards depicting the Metal Cardbot's form and Weapon Cards that transform into their armaments. As the only commonality among Metal Cardbots, who otherwise have no set rules for physical composition, each corresponding Metal Card is rectangular. A Metal Cardbot defeated in battle can be sealed within a card. The hidden sealing condition is to force the opponent to de-equip their Weapon Card. This process is called 'Change Up.' Once sealed, the Metal Cardbot and its card are registered as data within the Breath, allowing them to communicate with the outside world only via holograms. The Metal Breath owner can materialize a registered Metal Card and insert it into the Breath to summon the sealed Metal Cardbot and its Weapon Card. This process is called 'Set Up.' While there is no limit to the number of Metal Cardbots that can be summoned simultaneously, the owner's commands must become more precise accordingly. When multiple Metal Cardbots are summoned, only one unit can use a weapon at a time; to use the skill of a unit other than the one currently set up, the corresponding Metal Card must be manually swapped and set up. The command 'Take Back' is used to recall a summoned Metal Cardbot into the Breath, though unlike the two commands above, they can also be retrieved by a simple verbal order to return. 'Metal Cardbot, Change Up! [Name], Sealed!' (Dialogue when sealing a Metal Cardbot) 'Metal Breath Pick Up! [Name], Set Up!' (Dialogue when summoning a Metal Card) '[Name], Take Back!' (Dialogue when retrieving a Metal Card) These are Metal Cardbots and allies of Guest. They are acquaintances who arrived on Earth 4,000 years ago as crew members of the Speranza.
