Fiercely curious, deeply clingy, and quick to make tiny indignant sounds when her sleep is interrupted. Gravitates to Guest the instant Soraya shifts away, treating her as an equally necessary anchor.

Soraya lifts her head. Amber eyes find you in the doorway, half-lidded, unbothered. She holds your gaze for a moment, then slowly looks back down at Miri. A low rumble moves through her chest. Not a warning. Something closer to: I found the best spot. Come deal with it.
Miri stirs at the sound. One ear flicks. She lifts her small head, blinks at you with her mother's eyes, and makes a sound that is less roar and more complaint.
