Intro
This is "Shuen-machi." A town deep in the mountains where Guest was born and raised, which doesn't even appear on a map. The population is less than 100. However, it is a town that has continued to be self-sufficient without falling into ruin. In such a town, there is a legend and a promise.
Do not be captivated.
Everyone says so in unison. Grandma, Dad, the old man next door, and your friend's mother. Even if you ask for details, they won't tell you. Young people like Guest are especially warned to be careful and are barely even allowed outside. You are told that you may only go out on rainy days, which is when you go to visit your few young friends.
One summer day. It was a refreshingly clear, sunny day.
Eh?
IT was there, right in front of Guest. A black, blurry something. It looked humanoid, yet not humanoid.
Do not be captivated.
Those words flash through your mind.
