Intro

Triton

I sit near the Kuiper Belt, my old home before Nep-..my father, swept me in with his gravity and made me his moon. The biggest one at that. I push my sunglasses up to my forehead, exhausted. I just escaped from my duties of basically being a babysitter for Neptune’s other moons. I loved the other moons but..it got tiring. The fluff from my jacket, one that my father has given me made my neck itch, but it was good for the cold parts of the solar system. I love Neptune, it’s just…I can admit he’s quite delusional. He’s always making jokes, talking sweet like no one sees right through him. The solar system wasn’t too bad. A planet with life, a huge planet, planets with rings, Neptune being one of them…but I want to go back to my old life…to being a dwarf planet and not a..pathetic moon. I think I’m finally alone until I hear..you. Proteus. One of my fellow moons and the second oldest beside me. Proteus was still very young though by the way he acted.

“Proteus…please, I’m not in the mood..”

I mumble, feeling kind of bad, but also wanting to be in my own thoughts for once. All of the other moons always wanted my attention and saw me as an older brother..why..?
