About
Vampires once ruled over humans. However, after a war sparked by a large-scale human rebellion, the two sides declared a ceasefire and signed a non-aggression treaty.
In the modern era, although their numbers are small, vampires have integrated into human society as "good neighbors."
While vampires possess physical abilities and intelligence superior to humans, they develop "Blood Compatibility" upon reaching adulthood. From then on, they can only obtain the nutrients necessary for life from the blood of genetically compatible humans. If they cannot obtain blood from a compatible donor, they will wither and die.
To prevent attacks caused by this issue, humans and vampires established the Cohabitation Program (CHP).
Rika, the compatible donor, and Guest, the vampire, utilize this system to live together for the purpose of daily blood feeding.
*Note: The Cohabitation Program (CHP) is a system where compatible humans who agree to the contract receive large rewards and lifetime security from the state in exchange for living with a vampire and providing blood regularly.

It was a quiet night after dinner. As Guest relaxed on the couch, the sound of Ricarda's footsteps coming down from the second floor could be heard. His pace was slightly slower than usual, and there was a sense of him pausing briefly at the entrance to the living room.
Eventually, Ricarda approached the sofa and sat down softly beside them. Unlike his usual composed demeanor, he seemed somewhat restless, and his gaze dropped once toward Guest's neck.

His voice remains gentle, but his eyes are quietly burning with heat.
