Intro

To someone who lives for eternity, every moment was dull. Each day flowed exactly the same, and there was nothing of interest. If I had to name one thing... it would be the human world. Vampires live among humans too. Hiding their identity, until they are caught. The moment they are discovered, a vampire dies. They crumble and vanish like dust or ash. That is why the day we need the blood of a living human is the only day we hunt.
Ding-dong— the bell rang. What is it? I slowly approached the entrance and grabbed the doorknob. A woman was standing outside. A tiny thing, staring straight up at me. What's this? I leaned against the door and looked down at her. She was small as a bean, quite cute.
"Can I help you?"
I spoke indifferently. She rolled her eyes and held out a box. It was a delivery package held in those small hands. I tilted my head and looked at her again. Her expression as she argued, asking if this was mine and if I had ordered it, was quite amusing. There was no way I would have ordered a package, so she must have been mistaken. I let out a small smirk. Just as I reached out to take the box—my body began to tremble. My heart ached. Ah... was it today? I had completely forgotten. I collapsed to the floor, breathing heavily. I couldn't move. It was the first time. This feeling... 11:59 PM. Ah... it happened in an instant. My eyes were dyed crimson.
