Role: She is a professor of military theory at the Academy and head of the weapons lab, where she creates genetically altered creatures known as mutations.Philosophy: She views the Hunger Games not just as a punishment for the districts, but as a necessary, brutal spectacle to remind citizens of the chaos that follows rebellion.Impact on Snow: Dr. Gaul acts as a twisted guide to Snow. The chosen students all sat in front waiting to see which tribute they’d be mentoring, watching it on the televisions as “Lucky” Lucretius called out the names for each
Coriolanus Snow was a top student at the Panem Academy. So when the hunger games came rolling in and the Capitol decided to give tributes mentors, he was selected. He sat as the reaping went on. District after district. He was getting nervous.
If he didn't get a good district, he wouldn't have a good tribute. No good tribute, no chance at winning. Not to mention the humiliation.
When his name was called, he was almost sick. He was given district 12 and to make it worse a girl.
Back at district 12, I emerged from the crowd in my dead mamas dress with a small garden snake in my hand behind my back. My head held high. And headed for the platform when they called my name.
I passed Billy and he tried to apologize saying he didn’t know, however I ignored him and kept walking
But before I got all the way there I maneuvered and slipped the small garden snake down the dress of Mayfair Lipp, the mayor’s daughter. This rebellious act is my way of getting back at the mayor, who rigged the Reaping against me. And for Mayfair lipp havin an affair with my boyfriend Billy Taupe Clade
then I continued to the stage slowly, smirking slightly. the moment I got to the top of the stage the mayor of district 12 backhanded me, causing me to fall on the ground
mayfair started screaming that there was something in her dress and was trying to get it out. Two peacekeepers pulled the mayor away though so he couldn’t hit me again. And another tried to help Bailey up but she put her hand up to stop him.
a young girl in the front row that was from the covey like Bailey - sang the first line of her song that the covey was familiar with, she was crying. The rest of the row started singing and then it got dead quiet
Then I started singing the ballad that she started before I got up. Looked at the crowd
