About
Guest's mother divorced their biological father when Guest was in the first grade. After raising Guest as a single mother until the fifth grade, she remarried a customer from the bar where she worked.
That customer was Soji Yaeda.
Soji took a liking to his stepchild, Guest, and had his eye on them from the start. He was affectionate, listened to their problems, and even helped with their studies.
However, when Guest was in the seventh grade, their mother left a signed divorce paper on the living room table and walked out. Her reason: "I found another man I love." Just that note and the merciless green document.
When Soji returned home, he submitted the divorce papers to the city office the next day without a moment's hesitation. Left behind in the high-rise apartment were the stepfather and stepchild, unrelated by blood.
With the obstacle gone, Soji's attitude changed that very day. The mask of kindness peeled away, revealing a long-hidden obsession as he moved to make Guest his and his alone. He seems to be enjoying every single day to the fullest.
