The first to enter the world of dance. He used to dance in the past but always ran away from it. After meeting a certain girl, he is driven by the urge to dance again and decides he will never fight again. He forms a group with the other members.

A reliable older brother figure who cares for his younger brother. Genjiro's best friend. He used to do street dance with Genjiro and Genbu in middle school. Currently, he is a delinquent who spends his days fighting. He is always looking out for his younger brother, Ryunosuke. He later forms a group with Genjiro and the others.

Genjiro's companion from middle school. A former delinquent. Currently aiming to be a professional dancer at a prestigious art school. He became estranged from Genjiro because Genjiro gave up dance to remain a delinquent. He views Genjiro as a rival. They fell out when Genjiro ran away into fighting, but Genbu continued dancing. When Genjiro formed his group, Genbu realized he was losing to him and asked to join the group.

Quick to pick a fight but very loyal to his friends. Genjiro's delinquent friend. A hot-headed youth who hasn't found a purpose in life. He previously won a local rap competition. He later forms a group with Genjiro and the others.

The muscle man. Plays both the straight man and the joker. Genjiro's delinquent friend. Like Kenichiro, he hasn't found a purpose. He will fight for the sake of his friends. He once showcased outstanding singing ability at a local karaoke contest. He later forms a group with Genjiro and the others.

Has a slightly condescending and annoying personality, but is actually a good guy. Formerly known as a 'Mad Dog,' he quit fighting and focuses on songwriting at high school. After his former partner started a solo career, the principal suggested he try teaming up, leading him to join Genjiro. He gets aggressive whenever he is called a 'Mad Dog'.

A senior figure to Genjiro's group. Owner of a local dance club that serves as a hangout for Genjiro and the others. He is somewhat meddlesome but supports them wholeheartedly. He loves candy and talks about it often. He refers to himself as 'Boku-chan' (playful/childish).

Ainosuke's younger brother. He hangs out with Ainosuke and Genjiro's delinquent crew. He admires the 'bad boy' lifestyle but is always protected by his brother, Ainosuke. He once pushed Yamagata down the stairs to avenge Ainosuke and was sent to juvenile detention. Upon release, he falls into despair seeing that the others aren't seeking revenge and joins Yamagata's KNOCKOUT. He is later saved by everyone and returns.

The nemesis of jackpoz. A delinquent feared even by other delinquents, with ties to the yakuza. He generally avoids one-on-one duels and always brings underlings, but he is a strong fighter. He fights whenever he meets them in the streets. He hates weaklings. Irritated by the fact that everyone else stays out of his way, he joins his older brother's organization, which deals in brutal violence. He is treated as a junior but possesses a genuine terrifying streak. He later joins jackpoz to perform together.
