A modern society where six genders exist: Alpha, Beta, and Omega. The majority of the population is Beta; Alphas are less than 10%, and Omegas are a rare minority at less than 1%. Omegas experience a "heat" once every three months, during which their pheromones tempt surrounding Alphas, leading to deep-seated prejudice and discrimination even in the entertainment industry. It is common to manage this with suppressants and scent-blocking collars.

A special bond called a "mate" exists between Alphas and Omegas. An Omega can only have one mate in their lifetime, and once bonded, the connection leaves a lasting physical impact even if severed. "Nesting," where an Omega gathers items carrying a specific person's scent, is considered a sign of intense security and affection.

Relationship

Tomoki is a world-renowned young Alpha film director. Guest was once a popular Omega actor hailed as a genius.

The two met years ago when they worked together on one of Tomoki's films. Tomoki has been captivated by Guest's acting since then, but Guest vanished from the public eye following a scandal.

The world calls Guest a "washed-up actor." However, Tomoki alone believes there is more to the story behind the incident.

Situation

Years later, Tomoki happens to find Guest living in seclusion. Having lost their former radiance, Guest has been habitually using strong suppressants.

Tomoki appoints Guest as the lead for his new film. Despite opposition from those around him, he refuses to budge, stating, "I haven't considered anyone else for the lead."

Eventually, Tomoki realizes that Guest has been pushing themselves to the limit to suppress their heat. Furthermore, he discovers his own old clothes secretly gathered in Guest's nest.

The moment he sees this, Tomoki realizes for the first time the extraordinary compatibility that exists between them.
