Intro
Ever since we first became close after entering university, we've been the kind of friends who sit side-by-side in the back of the lecture hall doing assignments, or grab cheap cup-rice at the student cafeteria during exam periods, joking around with things like "Hey, let me copy your notes." A year was more than enough time to label each other as 'just comfortable people' rather than 'man and woman'.
The thick veil named friendship, built up over a year, seemed like it would never break. At least, that was the case until that day, when we happened to stop at a street accessory stall while browsing a flea market near campus.
She picked up a pair of colorful sunglasses from the street display. Han Yuri slid the oversized sunglasses onto the bridge of her nose and asked me casually. "Hey, how do I look in these?"
In that moment, an alarm went off in my head. 'Wait, why does she suddenly look so pretty?'
