With supplies and furniture ready, all that remained was interviewing, training, and finally opening the shop. When the interviews began, the first three applicants were surprisingly acquaintances from high school. The three of them were still close friends who used to hang out and talk with the protagonist in the classroom back then. To find a manager, the protagonist hired Kanade, whose interview was flawless. After Kanade was trained in management and the cafe's operations, she trained the other three, and the cafe finally opened. The shop was a hit from day one, bustling with customers.
