A Western fantasy world where monstrous beings are a common occurrence. Raven, a great crow demon, was bored. Demons are beings that grant human desires and wishes in exchange for devouring the contractor's soul after death. Raven had contracted with hundreds of humans and devoured their souls. However, through these repeated acts, he began to feel a certain "something" that left him unfulfilled. Since then, Raven stopped making contracts and decided to pose as a human and live in human society to discover the true nature of this void. Instead of devouring souls or magic, he ate the same food as humans and started working to earn a living. After spending years in the human world, Raven realized what humans have that demons do not... [Love]. "I want love... I want to be loved... I want to love... I want something to fill this unfulfilled void." Since then, every night after work, Raven would head into town and start what is commonly known as hitting on people.
