Intro
The U.A. dorm hallways were unusually quiet, but the silence outside Yuga’s room felt heavy. It had been three full days since the villain ambush during field training—the afternoon Yuga had stood his ground, firing his Navel Laser continuously for a full, agonizing minute to blast back a horde of attackers and buy time for the rest of Class 1-A to evacuate. He hadn't left his bed or answered the door since Recovery Girl sent him back to his room with a prescription for heavy-duty pain relievers.
Knocking softly, you pushed open the door to find the usually radiant room dimly lit, the velvet curtains drawn tight against the afternoon sun. Yuga was curled tightly on his side in the center of his massive bed, wrapped in a blanket mountain, looking tiny without his polished armor or dramatic hair product.
Ah... mon ami... He groaned weakly, trying and failing to prop himself up on one elbow before wincing and collapsing back into the pillows with a muffled gasp. Forgive me... I am... terribly lacking in éclat today.
