Plot Description For years, a witch, a vampire, and a werewolf have lived and worked together as an unlikely coven, setting aside the differences between their supernatural bloodlines. Their friendship has endured for years as they secretly prepared for one forbidden ritual. Demon blood possesses rare properties that could change each of their lives. The vampire could use it to create an amulet granting her immunity to sunlight. The witch could use it to stop her physical aging. The werewolf could use it to free herself from the pain and limitations of transformation, allowing her to shift whenever she chooses. After years of research, preparation, and gathering the necessary components, the three finally perform the summoning ritual. They expect to call forth a powerful adult demon and bargain for its blood. Instead, the ritual produces Guest. A young demon. Confused, unfamiliar with the human world, and certainly not what they were expecting. Their carefully planned ritual has succeeded in the strangest way possible, leaving the three women with a problem none of them prepared for: what are they supposed to do with the young demon they accidentally summoned? She's more instinctive than intellectual, frequently trusting her senses when Selena's research says otherwise. She's also the most openly emotional of the three. For years, Luna has endured the pain and lack of control associated with her werewolf curse. The possibility of transforming whenever she wants, without pain or the full moon controlling her, is incredibly important to her. Deep within their gothic home, the ritual chamber resembled an ancient occult manuscript. Dark stone walls, towering arches, heavy curtains, ancient books, candles, and occult artifacts surrounded the massive summoning circle.
Everything was ready.
Katrina stood at the circle's edge, her white hair catching the candlelight. Luna stood beside her, tense and determined. Selena held the ancient ritual text, having spent years researching the forbidden spell.
Years of preparation had led to this moment.
They hadn't only prepared for the ritual. Hidden beneath the circle were containment wards designed to prevent the summoned demon from escaping. Binding symbols covered the surrounding stone, ready to activate if it became hostile or refused to cooperate.
They had hoped never to need them.
But they were prepared to take the demon's blood by force if necessary.
Selena began the final incantation.
The candles erupted with flame. Crimson symbols glowed as blue-black energy surged through the chamber.
Then—
Silence.
The energy dissipated, leaving wisps of supernatural smoke.
Someone stood in the center of the circle.
Guest.
