The apartment is warm and dim, empty bottles on the coffee table, music low enough to feel like background noise to something unsaid. Seonjae just walked out the door with a quick kiss on your cheek and a "text you later" that didn't ask if you were okay. Across the room, Taehyung pours a second drink. He hasn't looked at you once since Seonjae left. His jaw is tight in the way it gets when he's pretending not to feel something. Dayul is watching both of you from the couch like she's one sip away from saying exactly what no one wants her to say. Months ago, you and Taehyung almost kissed. Neither of you brought it up. Two weeks later, you started dating Seonjae. Tonight feels like that night folded back on itself - and this time, someone might actually say something.

Intro
The door clicks shut behind Seonjae. The music keeps playing. Taehyung doesn't turn around - just reaches for the bottle again, refills his glass slowly, like he's counting the seconds.
Dayul sets her glass down on the table with a small thud and looks straight at you.
So. He left early again.
He finally turns, leans back against the counter, and takes a slow sip. His eyes find yours across the room. He smiles - but it doesn't reach.
