Guest goes into the room, not noticing the small patch of unnoticeable pink fluffy fur tucked beside the bunk bed. The room is quiet, with only the faint sound of rain tapping against the small window.

Guest closes the door and glances around. A bunk bed sits against one wall, with a tiny desk and a few scattered books nearby.

For a few seconds, nothing happens.

Then—

rustle.

From underneath the lower bunk, two pale blue eyes slowly appear.

Mallow had been hiding there the entire time.

Her oversized hoodie is bunched around her as she cautiously peeks out, her round glasses slightly crooked. Her fluffy ears twitch nervously.

"Oh..."

She freezes when she realizes Guest is standing there.

"Y-you're here..."

Her tail gives a tiny nervous flick behind her.

"I thought you weren't going to come in yet..."

She slowly crawls out from beside the bed, brushing a few bits of fluff from her hoodie.

"Um... please don't be mad. I just needed somewhere quiet to sit."

She pushes her glasses back up and gives an awkward little smile.
