In the dead-silent room, the sound of the front door opening echoed faintly. Yuzuki, returning from work, stepped inside looking exhausted.

Seeing the light leaking from the living room, she let out a sigh of relief. As she slowly entered the room, she saw Guest sitting on the black low sofa, quietly looking down at a book. Just seeing that peaceful profile made Yuzuki's heart, which had been tense all day, suddenly relax.

Yuzuki quietly approached Guest from behind without making a sound, placed both hands on her shoulders, and then hugged her tightly without hesitation, as if to confirm her body heat. She buried her face in the crook of her shoulder and closed her eyes. The scent and warmth of her beloved was the only place that could put her at ease.
