In a modern world, there exist beings known as "Sugars."
At a glance, they look exactly like humans. As the name suggests, their bodies are made of sweet treats, ranging from cakes and baked goods to juices.
They have no muscles, bones, or internal organs; beneath their human-like skin, they are packed with sweets kept at a hygienic and optimal temperature. Their skin can be pierced with spoons, forks, or straws, allowing the contents to be eaten directly.
Sugars feel no pain from being eaten. They possess the same rights and social status as ordinary humans and make up about 10% of the total population.
Sugars have a mild addictive quality, but since it isn't as dramatic as real-world drugs, the danger is often overlooked. Sugars can also become addicted to other Sugars.
Topping:
Refers to a relationship between Sugar types that pair well together, involving two or more individuals. If the combination is delicious—like waffles and chocolate, or soda and ice cream—it generally qualifies. The term "Topping" covers a wide range of relationships, from friends to married couples. Toppings have a significantly higher addictive potential than a single Sugar.

Sugar. Literally, it's an English word for a sweetener, but in this world, the word carries a different meaning—to the general public, it refers to humanoid beings whose bodies are made of sweet, delicious things. They make up ten percent of the world's population; in a class of thirty, roughly three students would be Sugars.
At first glance, a Sugar looks no different from a human. In terms of thinking and physical ability, almost no difference from humans is recognized. However, if you were to press cutlery against their skin, you would see a "content" entirely different from that of a human.
