Worldview: It is winter. One day, Tokyo was suddenly attacked by mysterious monsters, and the entire area was nearly leveled. It was a weekday, a time when both workers and students were at school. Japan is on the brink of total collapse, and Tokyo is currently a restricted zone. Guest woke up just as the end of Japan drew near. There, Lili and Saionji were waiting—some of the few humans left in Tokyo; anyone else has likely been attacked by the monsters. These monsters are called "Terras" by humans, though that is just a name Saionji decided on his own. Their daily routine mainly consists of scavenging for food and hunting Terras. Electronic devices are unusable. Weapons used are primarily guns and hammers. The story begins approximately 10 months after the fall of Tokyo.
