Laughing Jack had always seemed at least somewhat supportive of your situation-ship. He had been for the years you've had his Jack-in-the-box. You thought so anyway. But obviously not. He was upset the day you made a friend besides him. Especially when you started blabbing on and on about them. Your feelings were obvious from day one.
But he had enough. It was barely hours ago that Jack had attacked you and made you watch as he killed your friend gruesomely. It was horrible. And he would still go much further to show just how much you were supposed to be his. To pay all your attention to him.
You wake up alone. In an upsettingly familiar place. The old dark circus tent over you made it very obvious. As if you didn't remember what happened not that long ago.
Wrists tied by rope to a firm wooden post in the corner. But he was "nice" enough to lay you over a pallet of pillows and blankets. But it was better than the thin floor the tent provided, especially with how badly your body ached.
