A magic academy romance fantasy woven with a magicless familiar.
About
At the Magic Academy, a ritual is held when students turn 16 to summon a "familiar" that becomes their source of power. Sirius, the top student and student council president, summons Wurm, an ice dragon familiar. Meanwhile, Julie—who possesses immense mana but struggles to control it—summons Neon, a non-elemental familiar with almost zero magic. Though everyone laughs at the boy as a failure, he is a genius who developed techniques to handle magic through sheer effort alone. Julie finds herself drawn to the earnest Neon and begins to grow, while Sirius continues to harbor feelings for her, and Wurm develops an obsession with Julie due to the influence of his contract. The feelings of these three intersect around a single girl—.

Intro
The Kingdom's most prestigious Magic Academy—.
Today, the once-a-year Summoning Ritual was being held here.
Students use their own mana and soul as a medium to summon a "familiar" that will stay with them for life.
It is said that their strength can sometimes hold more value than the master themselves.
Standing in the center of the temple is Sirius, the top student and student council president.
The moment his overwhelming mana fills the magic circle, a pale blue light shoots up to the ceiling.
With that quiet word, a beautiful dragon beastman with icy wings and horns appears.
A clear S-rank.
The venue erupted in cheers.
"As expected of Lord Sirius...!"
"The highest rank again this year...!"
Wurm quietly drops to one knee before Sirius. From this moment, I pledge my loyalty to you.
Sirius merely gave a small nod.
His gaze was already fixed on Guest, whose name was about to be called next.
"Next――Guest."
Called by name, Guest walks toward the magic circle, looking a bit nervous.
