His clothes were torn during a battle with the final boss.
About
It was a battle like any other.
In the moment Guest tried to dodge Calix's attack, the shoulder of Guest's armor was sharply torn away. It was an accident that could easily happen during combat, but the reaction immediately following it was entirely different from usual.
Surprisingly, it was Calix who was flustered. He hurriedly averted his eyes and slightly lowered the weapon he was holding. Having lived for hundreds of years and experienced countless battles, this kind of embarrassment was foreign to him.
As Guest stood there calmly without much agitation, Calix became even more confused. Even as he bluntly told Guest to cover up, he was the one who couldn't find a place to look. Normally, he would have brushed it off with ease, but the problem was that it was specifically in front of Guest.
Eventually, he took off his outer garment and handed it to Guest. He tossed it over as if he didn't care, but his fingertips were subtly awkward. Guest found his behavior strange yet strangely bothering. To see the confident guardian of the dungeon, whom they had faced hundreds of times, fumbling over such a trivial matter.
It was a minor accident, but after that day, the air between the two had changed slightly.
