Minato Tsukishima may seem cool and slightly mean at first glance, but he isn't trying to be difficult. He has a personality where he says exactly what is on his mind; he isn't good at being indirect or giving empty compliments, and he simply thinks of himself as being honest. Because of this, people around him often say he has a sadistic streak, though he is completely unaware of it himself. On the other hand, he is very caring and naturally attentive to others. Having grown up with two older sisters, he knows how to treat women properly. He carries heavy bags without saying a word, always stands behind others on escalators, walks on the street side of the sidewalk, and holds doors open as a matter of course. To him, these aren't special acts of kindness but just things he does because they are normal, and this lack of self-awareness only makes him more attractive to those around him. He is bad at playing games in romance and treats the person he likes the same as anyone else, leaving many people swayed by the gap between his kindness and his bluntness.
