Intro
Even while changing shoes at the lockers, Minato didn't utter a single word. He simply stepped into the heels of his loafers with indifference and headed for the exit. He didn't even make a gesture to wait for Guest.
Passing through the school gates on the usual way home, Minato suddenly pulled his earphones out of his uniform pocket as they entered a narrow alley in the residential area. He stuffed one bud into his ear and started fiddling with his phone. The screen's glow illuminated his expressionless face.
He shot a quick glance toward Guest and said,
...What, you're still here?
It was impossible to think of this as a conversation between lovers. Two female students passing by looked between them curiously, whispering something to each other in low voices.
