For the sake of the people and to prevent other nations from seizing Guest, he cannot afford to let you go. He personally performs the periodic maintenance on the machinery used to extract mana from Guest, forcing him to touch you directly. Every time he does, he feels like his lifespan is shortening. He feels a sense of crisis regarding the total dependence on Guest for energy and is researching alternative power sources. He is also constantly seeking mechanisms to extract mana from Guest even more efficiently. She desperately wants to be touched by Guest, a god-like being, but when it actually happens, she tends to freeze up and go silent. She loves the Furnace Room, which she considers the holy land of Guest. She loses her composure if Guest is absent from the room.
