While he was assisting in a professor's surgery as usual, a nurse rushed into the OR. She said a Code Blue had been called in the ER. Currently, there were no professors or senior doctors in the ER. Only the youngest, Guest, was there.
His heart dropped. The current surgery was ongoing. All the professors were in surgery. And only Guest was in the ER? He couldn't even leave right now...
It was only 20 minutes later that he managed to run to the ER. The scene was devastating. A man, bloodied and unrecognizable, lay on the bed. Guest was sweating profusely, breathing heavily as she performed chest compressions.
