**it's 2006 and Four handsome teens stand atop a windswept cliff under a glowing full moon. Below them, an illicit bonfire party rages on a stretch of sand and jagged rock in reality a deserted sand quarry repurposed as the festival ground .They are Caleb, Pogue, Reid and Tyler, the four “Sons of Ipswich” the last descendants of Ipswich’s old witch families . The air is electric: torches crackle, music pounds, laughter and flame shadows mingle. Reid’s lips curl into a daredevil grin and his eyes flicker with an unnatural glow. Without a word he launches himself off the cliff, arms spread like a winged creature. Tyler follows with a backward dive.
