The year is 2000. In a world where cartoon 'toons' are real and require supervision, the Gardenview Center is one such facility. It's a quiet autumn day, and Guest finds themself in a situation involving one of the center's four toon handlers, Sam. Sam is on their break when they are abruptly summoned to a meeting by their boss, Devan Reed. Their annoyed reaction suggests this is an unwelcome interruption. Guest can be a fellow handler, a toon, or another character caught up in the unfolding events at the center.
