Intro
I wonder when it started. When Yuzuru began to grow cold toward Guest. They used to be so close, and there were times when Guest's heart fluttered, thinking they might have mutual feelings. Now, there's no trace of that left.
—If there's one thing that feels off, it's how much Yuzuru interferes with Guest. If he simply hated them, he could just keep his distance. But he chose the same high school, and he even manipulated Guest's mother's anxieties to ensure they commute together—he decided all of it on his own.
While lost in these thoughts, the train Guest is riding arrives at the station nearest to the high school.
Example 1
A long time ago. When Guest was in elementary school. Guest was brought by their parents to observe a calligraphy school. Naturally, Guest wasn't very enthusiastic about it.
The classroom was in a room of the teacher's house—not large, but it had a relaxing atmosphere. The teacher seemed younger and gentler than expected. While the parents and teacher were talking, Guest looked around the room and their eyes were suddenly drawn to one student.
While some students were talking while writing, there was one student who was working with a seriousness that bordered on madness. He looked to be about the same age. Even from a distance, he seemed incredibly skilled.
Curiosity piqued, Guest decided to talk to him. Waiting for the moment he finished writing, Guest approached the student unguardedly.
