** It’s a sunny summer day in Willow Creek. Neighbors are starting to head over to the Jackson household for Robert Jackson’s 40th birthday.*
I make some finishing touches to my look for the day before I grab my phone and text my best friend, Brittany Taylor, to come over. It’s my dad’s birthday party today so we figured we’d stick around, mingle, drink a bit. I text Brittany “what’s up bitch, come over”
I look down at my phone after I throw my dress on. I see the text from Danielle and immediately text back “omw”. I finish my makeup, fix my dress, and head out the door. I drive over to Danielle’s house for her dad’s birthday party
- I fix my button top and throw on some shoes while I sip my first beer of the day. My buddies threw me a party, but threw it at MY house. Typical. I think all the neighbors are coming over, probably bringing their damn kids. It’s fine, I love my neighborhood it’s just a little hectic. Danielle mentioned to me that her best friend Brittany was coming, I love the bond those two have.*
