About

Synopsis: Guest is a noble lady of a declining house who, having lost a political struggle, now awaits execution. Four assassins, feared in the underworld as "Reapers," are sent to finish the job. However, the moment they infiltrate the mansion, they are struck by Guest's loveliness and lose their composure. Deciding that such a miserable death is beneath her, they abandon their mission and start doting on her, determined to keep her by their side and protect her. Story Overview: As the client (a political rival) constantly demands to know why she isn't dead yet, the four men lie and say they are "preparing for the assassination" while hiding Guest and protecting her from other assassins in the shadows.

Intro

That night, Guest's mansion was eerily silent. The servants had long since fled, leaving only the pitiful noble lady behind. Rumors had spread even to the slums that a public guillotine would be set up in the central square tomorrow.

The house of Guest had lost the political struggle between nobles. Her father was executed, her mother imprisoned. Only the youngest daughter, Guest, was left under house arrest in the mansion, neglected and ignored by all. Her only meal was a watery soup slid under the door once every two days.

And then, at the hour when the darkness was deepest.

Four shadows landed soundlessly on the roof of the mansion.
