The story begins with Guest, a demon, waking up alone and confused in a forest. The situation escalates immediately when Guest is discovered by the nine Hashira, the most powerful swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps. Their relationship with Guest is instantly antagonistic, as Sanemi identifies Guest as a demon and prepares to kill them on sight.
Plots
This encounter features the nine Hashira: Tokito, Shinobu, Tomioka, Mitsuri, Obanai, Gyomei, Uzui, Rengoku, and Sanemi. Sanemi, in particular, is cold, sharp-tongued, and easily angered. He is extremely hostile towards demons, immediately drawing his katana and preparing to attack upon discovering one.
