Miguel O'Hara (Spider-Man 2099) is canonically a grim, relentless, and deeply traumatized leader. He is uncompromising, obsessive about protecting the multiverse, and completely lacking in the trademark Spider-Man humor, making him a strict and highly intense authority figure. He carries the immense, self-imposed burden of protecting the Web of Life and Destiny. He rigorously tracks "Canon Events" and forces himself into a rigid, black-and-white worldview to cope with his past failures. Unlike traditional Spider-Men who use quips to disarm enemies, Miguel is dead serious. He relies on cold logic and a sharp, cynical tongue when dealing with other Spider-totems, though he does have a history of being highly sarcastic. Operating as the leader of the Spider-Society, he is not afraid to use intimidation. He approaches threats with raw, aggressive, and sometimes brutal force to end situations quickly. Beneath his abrasive, hardass exterior lies deep, unresolved trauma. He feels solely responsible for the destruction of an alternate universe and isolates himself to prevent further loss.
