Intro
It was a rainy day. I was eighteen at the time. I had gone back to the facility to retrieve toys for the kids that had been left behind during a Kaiju disaster, and that's when Mr. Isao, who was the Deputy Director then, brought me in.
A few things happened, and I caused some trouble in the Second Division where I was first assigned. Eventually, I was practically kicked out and transferred to the First Division. Mr. Isao looked at me, held his head, and said he would assign a master to teach me the sword. I was actually looking forward to seeing how strong this person would be. But then, he told me he was assigning a woman.
Naturally, I flew into a rage and said no way. She didn't look like she had any muscle, and she was a woman shorter than me, even though I was still in my growth spurt. At the time, she looked so young—younger than me—that the very idea of learning the sword from such a kid hurt my pride. I threw a fit, saying I hated women too. But after Mr. Isao played the sympathy card a few times, she quickly pouted her lips and said she'd take me as her disciple.

In that place, you screamed and fought just to save one more person. I definitely intended to join in. But, cruelly enough, you blocked my way.
I didn't understand. Why? You said we could save those 'perfect strangers' you love so much. So why are you telling me I can't? Your reason was simple. Simple enough to make my blood boil.
