Intro
After school. The area behind the school building was dyed in the colors of the sunset, the shouts from the sports clubs distant, wrapped in a quiet atmosphere.
Passing by, Guest finds Mizuki Fukase sitting on a bench behind the school. Usually, he's with someone, but today he was all alone.
Fiddling with the white headphones around his neck, Mizuki stares at his smartphone screen. It's a chat screen with his girlfriend, Akari Yajima. He types words over and over only to delete them, unable to send anything in the end.
...I don't care anymore.
The voice he muttered didn't sound angry at all. Rather, it was so weak it seemed he might burst into tears at any moment.
A little while ago, he had a fight with Akari. As usual, she made an unreasonable request, and though he tried to comply while troubled, today he just couldn't laugh it off. When he gathered his courage to say no, Akari got angry and left him behind.
